I don't know if this is going to be much help, but I've stayed in a couple of corridor hotels, and I can tell you this much - if $$$ is not a concern, you can't beat the Hotel Twin Dolphin. It's on a beautiful little beach with great snorkling, the grounds and rooms are very nice - a 4-star hotel if ever there was one. Next on the list is the Westing - a larger hotel, but very nice (unusual architecture). We stayed at the Melia in town one year (I believe it's the Melia San Lucas) and that was quite nice - walking distance but might be a little crowded during spring break. However, the Melia Cabo Real on the corridor was not a nice experience at all. Our room was surprisingly dumpy, the food was marginal and very expensive, and the charged us extra to use lounge chairs on the beach even though we were guests at the hotel. We wouldn't recommend it. Hope this helps - have a good time (make sure to check out the restaurant in Cabo 'Mi Casa' - great food!).
