I'm planning a 2/3 month camping trip through Baja leaving December/99 and staying until March/00. What kind of weather conditions can I anticipate and what specific gear for camping, hiking, bicycling is recommended? What about camping sites? I understand that camping is open and need not be confined to organized camp grounds, is this true? Also, I'm looking for a good map which indicates historic sites as well as remote sites of interest. Thank you for your help!! Ben
